Customer Advisory Committee
Customer Advisory Committee
The Sewerage and Water Board Customer Advisory Committee was created to develop a formal process that gives community members a voice within the utility’s planning processes and decision-making structure. The Committee will help to guide SWBNO’s Master Planning process and will also create a venue for staff and the Executive Director to understand the community’s needs and priorities so that the work we do reflects the values of the customers we serve.
The Committee will focus on following items:
- 1. Gain a knowledge of SWBNO services, policies, and revenue/costs
- 2. Review system plan assumptions, technical evaluations, policy directions, and action alternatives;
- 3. Provide to the Executive Director comments on the Plans concurrent with delivery of final proposed Plans to the Board;
- 4. Assist the staff and Executive Director in engaging customers in discussions of the merits and implications of Plans; and,
- 5. review and provide input on the progress of the activities and other deliverables related to the plans.
The 12-member volunteer committee represents all City Council Districts, and embodies a diverse cross section of our community, including a member of the SWBNO Employee Advisory Committee.
